FOUNDERS

Guillermo Reyes, a Chilean-born playwright and Arizona State University professor of Playwriting, had a culturally inclusive and innovative vision as our artistic director. Daniel Enrique Perez, a Phoenix native, now a professor of Chicana/o and Latina/o studies at University of Nevada, Reno, with a background in U.S. Latino culture, became our managing director. Trino Sandoval, a native-born Mexican with a California upbringing and professor of Spanish at Phoenix College with an educational background in Mexican and Latin American culture, took on the role of executive producer. Seven years later, we had produced more than twenty plays and readings.
